I’ve finally updated my Lilypond Beginners Guide. It now contains not only updated commands for the most recent stable Lilypond (version 2.12), but also a number of added commands that the first one lacked.

Hi Eugene,

Thanks for this information. Do you have any sample Lilypond pieces that you are willing to share? I’m having a hard time finding good samples for classical guitar that I like whose source doesn’t look like a spider web. I actually own Finale and wonder if there is any advantage for me using Lilypond. As a programmer, I’m intrigued by Lilypond.
